Job Responsibilities
Reviewing and editing written material for grammar, style, and factual accuracy.
Collaborating with writers, designers, and other team members to maintain consistency and coherence.
Approving proofs and ensuring adherence to publication standards.
Developing content strategies aligned with the publication’s goals.
Identifying trends and topics relevant to the target audience.
Ensuring content adheres to brand guidelines, tone, and voice.
Approving final drafts before publication.
Reviewing and improving written content for accuracy, clarity, and quality.
Coordinating with writers and stakeholders.
Ensuring seamless content flow for publication.
Person Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or a related field.
Proven experience as an editor, preferably in publishing, media, or online platforms.
Exemplary editing and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
